About BCST Practice Sessions

I’m currently studying Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST), and as part of my training, I’m looking for practice clients to help me build my hands-on hours!

BCST is a very gentle, non-invasive form of bodywork that originates from the world of Osteopathy. Rather than using deep pressure or physical manipulation, BCST uses a light, supportive touch—usually at the feet, head, sacrum, collar bones or diaphragms — to help your system restore and reorganize. This subtle healing art is highly advanced as it works with Primary Respiration - a mysterious life force that is beyond the body, yet flows into it and restores the inherent health + vitality within.

What to Expect in a Session

  • Session Time: Lasts up to 45 mins

  • Fully Clothed: You lie comfortably on a massage table, fully clothed.

  • Deep Relaxation: The main goal is to create a safe, quiet space where your body & nervous system can fully relax and shift into a state of deep rest.

  • Self-Regulation: BCST is based on the idea that your body already knows how to heal itself. My job as the practitioner is simply to listen to your body's subtle rhythms (like the flow of cerebrospinal fluid) and support its natural ability to unwind stress, tension, or holding patterns.

What to Expect after a Session

  • Energy: Like waking up from a nap, you may feel more energized and alert, or you may feel a slight bit foggy with a desire to reflect/rest further.

  • Mood/Emotions: Like any bodywork, moving energy can bring joy + inspiration, and it can also stir stuck emotional energy which may need to be further processed.

  • Sleep: It is likely that you would experience better and more restorative sleep after a BCST session.

  • Body: It is recommended that you pay attention to any changes that you experience within a couple of days of receiving a session. (Ex: disappearing headaches, changes in body sensations + breath).

Who It's Great For

Because the touch is so gentle, it’s wonderful for almost anyone, especially if you're experiencing:

  • Nervous system fatigue, burnout, or high stress

  • Chronic tension or headaches

  • A desire for a quiet, restorative space to ground yourself

  • *Please note that for BCST practice sessions, I am currently only accepting pregnant clients who are able to lie safely on their back.

Since I’m in the learning phase, my focus is on listening, practicing my hand holds, and gathering feedback on how the sessions feel for you.

BCST Practice Session Request Form

As a student of BCST, it is required that I complete a select amount of practice sessions in order to receive my certification in November 2027. *Before submitting a request form, please read the ‘About BCST Practice Sessions’ section.

How it Works

  • Complete the Request Form: Fill out all contact info and availability preferences to get added to the Practice Session Waitlist.

  • Check Your Email: Tracy will email you with date/time options that are available. Last minute sessions may become available and communicated via text! Please indicate if you are flexible enough in your schedule to be an option for this.

  • Confirm Your Slot Promptly: Reply to the email ASAP (within 3-5 hours if possible) to secure your offered time. (Or via text if that is how you received notification).

  • Keep Scheduling Flexibility in Mind: Because paid appointments take priority, your practice session may need to be rescheduled if a paying client books that exact slot. You will be notified immediately via text with new options if this occurs.

  • Arrive Prepared: Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing (you remain fully clothed during the BCST session) and arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled start time. We will spend up to 5 minutes after the session to discuss your experience.

  • Session Wrap Up: To stay on schedule and respect everyone’s time, please plan to gently transition out after our session concludes. Thank you!

  • Payment: This practice session is free of charge! If you feel compelled to offer a donation, it would be warmly received, but in no way expected. Enjoy!
