Massage & Bodywork
with Hot Stones
With over 22 years of experience as a licensed Massage Therapist and skilled Bodyworker, Tracy’s style of work is centered around effectively blending fascia, acupressure, and trigger point therapies to help reorganize held patterns in the body. She also includes hot stones to promote nurture, grounding and adding an extra ‘Aaaahhhh….’ to the experience. Additionally, clients get to experience the healing power of the BIOMAT® during sessions at Tracy's space. (Click the link to learn more).
Her level of focused presence provides a safe and nurturing space for her clients to relax, let go, and drift into a journey of self-discovery. This inward focus empowers them to achieve profound levels of healing and a deeper exhale.
Because much of Tracy’s bodywork is centered around working with primary holding patterns, the work requires a slow, steady focus to work with these layers of density. She is intentional, intuitive and skilled in her craft.
She welcomes all varieties of clients to work with, including Pre + Post natal clients
Pre + Post Natal Massage
with Hot Stones (optional)
Tracy has been working with Pre + Post Natal clients for much of her practice with an increasing amount of interest and opportunity since 2022. While she incorporates much of what she practices in her regular Massage & Bodywork sessions, there is a particular emphasis on working with common ailments that mama’s may experience during their pregnancy, after birth and beyond. Tracy offers a special pre-natal cushion system that is designed to support the pregnant body and places a high emphasis on being present and adaptable in working with each mama and her unique needs.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
Evolving from cranial Osteopathy, this style of work focuses on the craniosacral system—the brain, spinal cord, cerebrospinal fluid, and surrounding membranes. In difference to a more traditional approach to Craniosacral therapy (which involves a biomechanical approach where the practitioner assesses structural restrictions and uses gentle, targeted pressure), the Biodynamic approach takes a non-directive, fluid-based approach, where the practitioner does not manipulate or try to fix restrictions. Instead, they maintain a receptive presence, tuning into deeper bodily rhythms so the client's own nervous system and inherent self-healing mechanisms dictate the shift.
Benefits of Massage + Bodywork
Eases Tension & Pain
By targeting tight muscle fibers, adhesions, and trigger points, bodywork releases stored physical tension, improves blood flow to fatigued tissues, and helps manage chronic issues like lower back pain, neck strain, and tension headaches.
Calm Nervous System
Massage shifts the body out of a sympathetic ("fight-or-flight") state and into a parasympathetic ("rest-and-digest") response. This lowers cortisol levels, reduces anxiety, and promotes deeper, more restorative sleep.
Circulation & Lymph Flow
The manual manipulation of tissue helps pump oxygen and nutrient-rich blood to tissues while encouraging the lymphatic system to clear metabolic waste, reducing swelling and supporting faster post-exertion recovery.
Joint Mobility & Flexibility
By relaxing hypertonic muscles, lengthening connective tissue (fascia), and working around joint capsules, massage improves your functional range of motion and helps prevent overuse injuries.
